According to the company, in an advanced prototype reactor, the 60mW LED demonstrates efficient and economical water treatment with flow rates up to 3 liters per minute and a disinfection rate comparable to NSF / ANSI 55 Class 'A'. The existing water-disinfecting LED and water treatment reactors in the Klaran range are used to treat water points (PoU) at flow rates up to 2 liters per minute with a disinfection rate comparable to NSF / ANSI Class 'B'.


The new reactor is expected to be launched in early 2020, and users can replace LED "engines" to meet different market performance requirements and business revenue models for the commercial water industry.
