US$1.3 billion! Export of LED Lighting Products in China in May 2019

In May 2019, China's total export of LED lighting products was 1.303 billion US dollars, down 13.20% compared with the same period last year. From the overall trend, the total export continued to show a rebound trend, with a ring-to-ring growth rate of 12.48%.

In April 2019, the United States remained our main export market. Among them, US exports of LED products amounted to US$363 million, down 5.49% year-on-year, accounting for 27.85% of total exports. German exports of LED products amounted to US$661 million, down 8.29% year on year, accounting for 4.69% of total exports. It is noteworthy that French exports of LED products amounted to US$0.54 billion, up 16.83% year-on-year, accounting for 4.12% of total exports. Exports from other regions have declined slightly compared with the same period last year.

In May 2019, bulbs (excluding unlisted lamps) were still LED lighting products exported by China, accounting for 30.98% of exports, and the total export volume decreased by 2.75% compared with the same period last year. Apart from bulb lamps, the main export products include tube lamps, lamp bars and ceiling lamps. Compared with the same period last year, the export volume of tube lamps decreased slightly. Among them, tube lamps fell 13.62% and export accounted for 13.56%.
