The latest news shows that there are still 120,000 traditional street lamps in Kaohsiung City waiting to be replaced.

According to the Kaohsiung City Labor Service, at present, 60 workers in Kaohsiung have divisional responsibility areas, and then sent inspection personnel in the past. From 2011, they applied for the replacement of traditional street lamps with 120,000 LED lamps, followed by 12 Wanhao traditional street lights replaced with LED energy-saving street lamps, but due to financial difficulties in Kaohsiung, the PFI (Private Finance Initiative) plan was changed to replace 120,000 traditional street lamps with LED energy-saving street lamps, saving electricity costs every year and then paying Give the manufacturer the remaining street lamp funding. If the traditional street light is replaced by the LED energy-saving street light, a warning signal will be installed on the top. Once the light is not on, the message will be sent back to the center, and the staff can be dispatched for repair.

According to the June news report, the Labor Department said that the total number of street lights in Kaohsiung City was 230,000 baht. In the past three or four years, it has already secured a subsidy of 1 billion yuan (the new Taiwan dollar, the same below) to replace 110,000 baht of traditional street lamps for energy-saving LED street lights. After the completion of the replacement, the annual electricity consumption will be reduced by about 95 million kWh, the electricity cost will be reduced by about 130 million yuan, and the annual carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by about 50,000 metric tons.

The Labor Department said that the street lamp electricity fee in Kaohsiung City has been declining year by year after the continuous replacement of energy-saving LED street lamps. Compared with last year and 2014, it has reduced electricity costs by about 130 million yuan. It is obvious that there is indeed a power-saving effect after replacing LED lights.
