The Dubai Power Company and government residential units have joined forces to promote the lighting replacement program. This project mainly replaces traditional lamps with LED bulbs.

In collaboration with local energy company ETIhad, Dubai Power is expected to replace 500 buildings in AlBarsha, AlWarqa and OudMetha, replacing traditional light bulbs with 160,000 LED bulbs.

This reloading program is mainly intended to reduce energy consumption and raise public awareness of the use of LED bulbs. The Dubai Power Company has assigned six teams to dress up.

At the same time, the program will enable Dubai Electric Power to become more integrated into the community in terms of creating renewable energy, reducing residential electricity bills and protecting the environment. The Dubai Power Company's goal is to provide approximately 160,000 LED bulbs and solar panels for 2,000 homes.

Dubai is expected to transform into a city with the lowest carbon footprint by 2050. Replacing LED bulbs can reduce energy consumption while supporting Dubai's 2030 integration energy plan, reducing carbon emissions by 30% by 2030.
