According to reports, Belo Horizonte, a city in southeastern Brazil, has upgraded 182,000 street lights by using new LEDs, saving 50% in electricity costs. At the same time, new LED lights have improved road safety in the city.

It is reported that this LED upgrade project is part of the first major public-private partnership between Belo Horizointe Ilumina?aoPublica (BHIP) and Yannuo. The project began in 2017 and surveyed all public lighting points, providing information on each street, scheduling timely delivery and installation. So far, the project installation has been completed 90%.

LED energy efficiency is higher than traditional lamps, and after upgrading to LED street lights, the municipality saved more than 50% of the cost of electricity. This is expected to be equivalent to the electricity consumption of 34,000 Brazilians a year. In addition, since the working life of LED street lamps is five times longer than that of traditional street lamps, the city will also save costs in terms of maintenance work and materials.

According to the news, Yanuofei has cooperated with Belo Horizonte for more than two years. High-quality street lamps provide a series of opportunities for cities and people, such as road safety, public spaces with more light and energy efficiency.

The new LED street lights are all manufactured by the company's factory in Brazil, covering an area of 6 square kilometers. Street lights on the avenue are equipped with remote management services to help BHIP manage street lights more easily.
